Bao Jianying, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of SDMG Attends the Naming and Delivery Ceremony of “Shandong Fuxin” Ship of SDCS (Singapore) Holdings Co., Ltd.

On July 30, 2019, SDSC (Singapore) Holdings Co., Ltd. and China Merchants Industry Holdings Nanjing Jinling Shipyard held a naming and delivery ceremony in Nanjing for “Shandong Fuxin”, the tenth ship in their 82,000-ton Kamsarmax bulk cargo ship project. Mo Jianhui, president of CCS, Bao Jianying, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of SDMG, and Wu Sichuan, the Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Industry Holdings attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.

Chairman Bao Jianying said, since both sides signed the contract on ten 82,000-ton Kamsarmax bulk cargo ships, Jinling Shipyard has carried forward the perfection-seeking spirit of craftsmanship and delivered all ten ships with a high quality as scheduled. Bao hoped that each side of cooperation could continue to unleash its own advantage to comprehensively pursue cooperation within a larger scope, a wider field and a higher level and join hands to usher in a new situation of mutual benefits and win-win results. It is an unwavering pursuit and a direction of focused effort for SDMG to develop ocean shipping. SDSC should firmly establish a service philosophy of “Centering around Clients”, try to improve its ship operation and management performance and provide the clients with better ocean shipping solutions.

In recent years, SDSC has expanded the market actively, tried to optimize its transport capacity system, and explored the innovation of business models and ship technology. As a result, its transport capacity has grown continuously and witnessed a steady improvement in its development quality. Particularly the Singapore operating platform built by it as a key project, depending on its international, market-based and professional team’s advantages, makes use of the niche advantage of Singapore as an international shipping hub to keep integrating the resources of shipping industrial chains. Through a light asset model, it has created a professional transportation vessel fleet of Kamsarmax ships, with a daily transport capacity exceeding 3 million deadweight tons and established a certain international competitive advantage in the field of dry bulk cargo transportation.
